1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how NaadKosh collects, uses, stores, and shares information when students and teachers use the NaadKosh applications and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account data: name, email address, role, login identifiers.
Profile data: display name and optional profile details.
Learning data: classes, ragas, assignments, notes, progress, quiz activity.
Content data: notation text, uploaded images, audio recordings, and submissions.
Subscription data: plan status and purchase metadata needed for access control.

3. How We Use Information

To provide core classroom and raga-learning features.
To authenticate users and secure accounts.
To process subscriptions and manage entitlements.
To improve service quality, reliability, and moderation workflows.
To communicate service updates and account-related notifications.

4. How We Share Information

Within class context, teachers and students can view the content relevant to that class.
With infrastructure providers required to run the service (for example hosting, storage, and authentication).
When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Billing and Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. NaadKosh does not store your full payment card details. We only store subscription state and transaction references needed to manage access.

6. Data Retention

We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, operational, and legal obligations. You can request account deletion, subject to required retention.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. No system is perfectly secure, but we continuously work to reduce risk.

8. Children and Educational Use

NaadKosh is used in teacher-student learning contexts. If a student is a minor, account creation and service use should be supervised in accordance with applicable laws and school/guardian requirements.

9. Your Choices

You can update profile data in the app.
You can manage subscription and renewal from your App Store account settings.
You can delete your account from the app (Profile → Delete Account) or contact support if you cannot access the app.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
